Trapped and Punished: The Gaza Civilian Population under Operation Protective Edge

In this report, "FIDH presents evidence consistent with the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity by the Israeli military during Operation Protective Edge (July-August 2014)." It is worth noting that FIDH was the first INGO to access the Gaza Strip shortly following the ceasefire which the parties agreed to in August of 2014. In the report also, FIDH "asserts that the indiscriminate firing of rockets by Palestinian armed groups, causing civilian deaths, may also amount to international crimes."
